Sipped Ink vol 5 — The Goldfinch

This is the archive of a series of weekly emails sent out in 2019 to a group of readers participating in the fifth annual Sipped Ink read-along. It’s an open question as to how much this material will have worth in accompanying your own reading of Donna Tartt’s The Goldfinch (2013). The switch from weekly emails to static archive makes the wording of some things sit strangely; but, if you can overlook that, I stand by most of my notes on the text itself.
